When it comes to selecting a nursing home for a loved one, it can be a long and tedious process.  We all want to be sure that we are placing our family members in the best environment, with the highest care possible.  This article I found provides a helpful checklist to make sure all of your issues and concerns are met when choosing a nursing home.    

While this list is not all-inclusive, it does remind us of important aspects to consider in the selection process.  Bed availability, activities, resident involvement, and preventative care programs are just a few of the numerous questions we need to take into account.  Formal visits, tours, and observations will also allow you to see the home’s atmosphere on a daily basis.
